I'm still slowly gliding back down to reality...what a buzz it was!

For a newbie blogger such as I -- and an eager, aspiring podcaster -- PodCamp Montréal was a tremendous gift. I know it will take me many weeks to work through my notes, process the information, practice the teachings, and continue gliding down with that big smile that hasn't left my face ever since attending the last conference given by Scarborough Dude :-)

So to all the organizers, speakers, and wonderful people who attended, THANK YOU / MERCI BEAUCOUP from the bottom of my heart.

Hugs and love,
Mudd a.k.a. Oza
xoxo

Thanks Alicia for your kind words. We're quite honoured that so many people chose Montréal to attend their first PodCamp. It's been only a few days and we're already planning what we're going to do to make a better event.

See you in 2009.

I had the time of my life!! Then again, you all already had a head-start hosting the un-conference in the beautiful city of Montreal (I fall in love with anything French-related...).

Sincerely, though, it was heartbreaking to return home! I can't stop talking to everyone about how inspiring and well-organized the whole event was.

As this was my first PodCamp, I can't speak from experience... but I can say that you have set the standards very high for those I will attend in the future.

And I DO hope you will do PodCamp '09, I'll be there!!!

Having the pleasure to work with such great people made being on the organising committee that much more enjoyable. Our weekly meetings were always fun (and beer-filled). Thanks to all of you for making the hard work so worth it.

As for next year, I vote yay! After all, now that we've popped our cherry ...

Cynical minds will warn 'Quit while you're ahead' but since the ultimate goal isn't to pull of a seamless event but, rather, to get people excited about podcasting and social media, I'd say it's definitely worth the risk.

My deepest gratitude goes out to everyone who sat on the organising committee with me and to all those, like Marko, Eva, Christian, Manuel, Ile Sans Fil, Lada et Georges and the students from the University of Sherbrooke, who pitched in to make it so much easier for us to run our event and for our guests to have a blast.

bisous!

Wow! Comments like that from people so much involved in the community like you are makes my heart full. It was the best lineup of conferences I've seen at a PodCamp so far and it's you guys! Thanks for having done what you did.
